By MBTA from downtown: Take the Blue line from Government Center or State towards Wonderland.  Get off at Maverick (which is one stop before the Airport).  Outside of the station, walk straight to the end of Maverick Square, walking away from the water and the Boston skyline.  Go 45° to the left down Meridian Street. We are one block down on the left in the basement of the East Boston Post Office.  Our entrance is through the archway to the left of the Post Office entrance on Paris Street.

By car from 93 (Expressway) or Storrow Drive:

The Massachusetts Turnpike has announced that I-90 East and I-90 West through the I-90 Connector Tunnel to Logan Airport is closed from I-93 in Boston to the Ted Williams Tunnel as well as the westbound I-90/Ted Williams Tunnel ramp at exit 24 in South Boston to I-93 North and South.

Until the tunnel is reopened, take I-93 North to Exit 23. Follow signs to Callahan Tunnel and Logan Airport OR take Storrow Drive to the Callahan Tunnel.  Go through the Callahan Tunnel – try to be in the right lane.  When the tunnel ends, you will take your first exit on the right, which says "Local Traffic." As you take a right onto the ramp, you will see Paris Street immediately on your right.  Take a right onto Paris Street.  Go three blocks until you come to the intersection with Meridian Street.  The police station will be on your left and the East Boston Post Office will be across from you.  EBECC’s Main Office is in the basement of the post office building.  Our entrance is through the archway to the left of the Post Office entrance. 

To get to the Youth Center, stay on Paris Street, pass the Post Office, cross Maverick Street and half way down the next block on the right is Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church at 28 Paris Street. The Youth Center is in the church basement.  Use the main entrance and once inside, go straight ahead through the double doors leading to the basement.

Parking

Parking can be a challenge. If there is not a space on Paris Street in the block near the post office, we often have good luck on Havre Street which runs parallel to Paris Street and is on the other side of the Post Office.  (To get to Havre, turn right off Paris onto Maverick or Sumner Streets.  The next cross street is Havre.)  There is also on-street parking on Meridian Street or in Maverick Square, which is one block up Meridian.
